Moving right along
I got a call on Wednesday from our amazing lennar rep Bill Touhy. He said we might want to come take pictures because they were framing the second story already. Rob went out to take pics the next morning and this is what he found. It's moving right along!

The first items to choose
A few weeks ago we had to decide the stain and accents for the sides of the cabinets. I included the pictures below of what we chose.
The stain will go in the kitchen, stairs, mantle, and study. More to come next weekend when we pick out the remaining items for the house!

The Inside
Our house is what I think they call semi custom. We have to pick out some of the items in the house, but not everything. Since we purchased the house after the permit from the city was obtained, they had already chosen the outside materials and elevation. I've included pics of both below. We love the elevation and stone/brick - so we were relieved to have two less items to pick out.
The foundation has been laid
We weren't able to drive by all week because it was dark by the time we left work. So we finally got to drive by yesterday morning! Here are some pics of the foundation.

A few pictures of our purchase!!
I've included some pictures below of our purchase. Since there are houses being built for us and those around us, the red dot below means that our lot is sold!!

Honeymoon Preview
While we are waiting on wedding photos I thought I would post a few honeymoon pics from our amazing honeymoon! We arrived and the room was not what we expected. Being my father's daughter we headed to the front office to see what happened and how we could get in the room we thought we were going to get. A bit of background on this, I made the reservations with a travel agent and sent her several pics of the exact room we wanted (those of you that know me will not be surprised by this). But having switched jobs and not having access to all the emails back and forth I had no way to prove what our room was supposed to be like. Lovely. So after scouring the Internet with the front desk and the pics, it became clear that our travel agent was in the wrong. We left upset but didn't want it to ruin our trip. After enjoying our evening we woke up the next morning and received a call that we would be upgraded for free to the room we thought we were getting in he first place. So I bet you are thinking....what was the difference?? The first room was ALOT smaller than the second. Also the second room's patio was literally in the lazy river....it was wonderful!! I've posted some pics below....we love sandals and can't wait to go back to another resort. I'm looking forward to having the whole family go to the beaches resorts for families when we have kids. It's so much fun and very nice!! Here's some pics....
